In your mind. Is it for Real??

When Harry Potter is dead, he has a vision of him on the London Station platform (which is white and Sparkling clean). It is here that he is met by Professor Albus Dumbledore. Towards the end of their conversation Harry asks "Is this for real?" To which Dumbledore  aptly replies   "Just because it has happened in your head does not mean it is not real." (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.)

While lying on his deathbed in 1920, pleased with Ramanujan's penance (He spent a lot of time thinking about maths that he flunked out of his college 2 times while in India) Goddess Namgiri appears to him in his dreams. She reveals him several patterns , which he later notes down for further reference. He forwards the British Mathematician GH Hardy these patterns that outline several mathematical functions that are quite unheard of before , esoteric in nature and not understandable to many.

Fast forward 2002, Sander Zwegers Work describes these Ramanujan Functions (written in 1920 ). With the help of various new Mathematical Tools recently developed researchers pursue it; Trying to make sense of it. Ken Ono , a Mathematician from Emory University in 2012 states that Ramanujan was right and that his equation was  formula for mock modular forms that may prove useful to physicists who study Black Holes !!!

Just because these visions occurred in his head did not imply that they were untrue. Many of us would dismiss these visions too if they did come to us.  In the absence of any modern scientific equipments or any association with individuals to theorise about these Mathematical Equations that govern the Black Holes is an improbability. Very rarely do such thinking and formulation come out of vacuum but rather with association with others.

Long considered a mathematical curiosity, it was during the 1960s that the term Black hole was coined and the  theoretical work showed black holes were a generic prediction of general relativity. With this knowledge in mind I strongly do believe that Goddess did appear to him and reveal to him the mysteries of Black Hole.
For only Gods have the knowledge of the secrets of their realm that they divulge to those they deem the worthy few!

Someone please add this information  in the Wikipedia section pertaining to Black Hole

PS: There has been a new development on this topic. Ramanuja "The Math Genius" who left an algebraic riddle has been solved.
